The House of Refuge is one of my absolute favorite beach spots for maternity, couples, and family sessions. The House of Refuge truly offers a diverse range of settings in one location, allowing for a rich variety of shots all in one session.
I particularly love shooting here on weekdays when the area is quieter, allowing us to make the most of the stunning surroundings without the weekend crowds. JAYCEE PARK
Jaycee Park in Vero Beach is a hidden gem for those seeking beautiful beach photos with a touch of rustic charm. To reach the highlight of this location—a charming, weathered pier that juts out into the ocean—you’ll need to take a leisurely 6-8 minute walk along the beach. This walk is part of the experience, leading you to a stunning backdrop that adds character and depth to your photos. The pier itself provides a picturesque setting, perfect for capturing those candid, playful moments with the sand and sea as your playground.
If you’re up for a little walk, the reward is a series of gorgeous beach shots that are well worth the effort. The soft waves, golden sand, and rustic pier combine to create a scene that’s both serene and captivating. It’s an ideal spot for couples, families, and maternity sessions looking for a coastal vibe with a unique twist.
However, it’s important to note that, unfortunately, fur babies aren’t allowed at this location. So while this spot is perfect for capturing stunning beachside memories, it’s best to leave your four-legged friends at home.
ALLAPATTHAH FLATS
Located in Palm City, Allapattah Flats is a breathtaking location that offers a lush, green backdrop perfect for maternity and couples or engagement photos. The expansive greenery sets a serene and natural stage for capturing intimate moments, while the wide-open space allows for a variety of compositions that showcase the beauty of your connection.
What truly sets Allapattah Flats apart are the epic sunsets that transform the landscape into a golden wonderland, ideal for creating those magical, golden-hour shots. Despite its popularity, Allapattah Flats is expansive enough to provide plenty of privacy for you during your session.
